Three people were shot dead in Jupiter, north of Palm Beach County, according to several press reports, the shooting took place in the early hours of Monday.
Police asked residents of the 1100 block of Mohawk Street to remain inside their homes while looking for the killer, the Palm Beach Post reported.
At dawn Monday, police cleared the area and indicated no suspects were found in the area, according to WPTV.
Authorities rushed to the site at 10:30 p.m. on Sunday after several calls were said to have heard gunfire in the area, WPEC said. The shooting took place near the Jupiter Christian School.
Jupiter police said the so far “they have no description of a suspect: and have not revealed the identity of the victims.
“This is a very rare occurrence for this quiet community,” CBS news reporter Kristen Chapman wrote on Twitter.
