The Miami-Dade Police made a major arrest at a jewelry store in southwest Miami-Dade.
Detectives told the NBC news that two people were arrested for selling fake items at the “The Lord of the Rings” jewelry store.
Co-owners Tania Varona and Jimmy Hernández were charged. Police said they seized more than $31 million in counterfeit goods.
In an exclusive interview with Conspiracy Talk News, Hernandez, who is on bail said in Spanish that “they have a legitimate business”. He said they “have nothing to hide”.
Investigators accuse the duo of selling thousands of counterfeit goods such as Cartier, Chanel, Tory Burch and Rolex. But, Hernandez told NBC 6 that they do not sell items from well-known brands, only items that are inspired by name brands.
