A priest at the Baikunth Dham Gaushala of Kharak Mangloli in India has been arrested and charged with ‘forcing’ two of his workers to indulge in ‘unnatural’ sexual acts with him. The complainants said that the priest told them if they did not bow to his requests he would use ‘black magic’ against them.
The 55-year-old priest had hired the two complainants – Virender Kumar and Hira Lal, both in their thirties – over a decade ago as handymen. The two say they have been harassed by the priest – named as Jai Prakash Giri – virtually from day one.
When gifts and alcohol did not work, priest turned to black magic
At first, the priest said that in return for sexual favours, he would leave them the ownership of the gaushala – the temple – at which he worked. He also tired to ply them with alcohol.
When that did not work, the priest took his persuasion and perversion to the next level – he would threaten them with dire spiritual consequences including the use of black magic if he did not get his wicked ways.
“The priest touched my private parts and asked me to have unnatural sex with him,” saud Kumar. “He has demanded sex ten times. I finally decided to lodge a complaint against him.”
Handyman alleges priest used black magic threats to procure sex
Lal also said that the priest was a sexual pest, and that matters between them had gone even further. “The priest used to force me multiple times to have sex with him at night,” said the handyman.
Following the complaint Police journeyed to the Baikunth Dham Gaushala and spoke to Giri. It is not known what was said, but on Wednesday Giri was arrested and will be held in police custody for two days.
